Please join Savannah National Wildlife Refuge (SNWR) and Ogeechee Audubon Society on November 3, 2018 for a program celebrating the Year of the Bird!
The program is from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. The morning will begin with a presentation of The Migratory Bird Treaty Act. This Act was signed into law in 1918 and is among the oldest wildlife protection laws on the books.
After the brief presentation, we will assemble four Barn Owl Boxes to be hung in Harris Neck and Pinckney Island Wildlife Refuges. What a treat to participate in a hands-on project to directly help our birds! Come ready to work to help our birds!
Meet at the SNWR Maintenance Shop located on Rt. 170 West – across from the entrance to the Laurel Hill Wildlife Drive.
This program is limited to 20 individuals. If you are interested please sign up at firstname.lastname@example.org by October 30th. Sign up early to reserve your place!
