OAS Calendar

This is the official calendar of the Ogeechee Audubon Society.  It may also include events that might be of interest to our members. All events listed are subject to change. Ogeechee Audubon’s activities are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted. Our Field Trips are open to birders of all skill levels and ages. If you wish to join one of our outings, you will be expected to adhere to our birding ethics.

To fully enjoy your birding experience, please bring binoculars, sunscreen, a hat, bug spray, water and snacks. In general, walk-ins are welcome. However, if you plan to attend a field trip, please email the leader.

Weather Statement:

Ogeechee Audubon’s birding activities generally go on as scheduled in a drizzle or light rain, but will be cancelled with a downpour or if there is lightning in the area. Unfortunately, we don’t always know the severity of the weather in advance and therefore the decision to cancel a birding activity may be made in the field. If there isn’t a designated leader for the activity, please use abundance of caution during inclement weather.
