The annual meeting of Ogeechee Audubon Society (OAS) will be held on April 17, 2018 at 7:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 520 E. Washington Avenue, Savannah, GA
The proposed agenda for this meeting is as follows:
- Brief overview of OAS activities for the past year and financial summary.
- Discussion and vote for Revised Constitution and By Laws.
- Presentation of slate of officers for 2018, nominations and vote.
The meeting will continue with our speaker, Diana Churchill, after the business portion is completed.
“The Constitution and By-laws may be amended by a majority vote of members in good standing present at any regular meeting or at any special meeting thereof, properly called, provided a quorum is present (as defined under Meetings – Article II, Section 4), and provided further that notice of such amendments shall have been made available to each member of OAS at least fifteen (15) days before said meeting.”
“Fifteen (15) members in good standing, five (5) of which may be by proxy, shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business at any duly called regular or special meeting.”
