A self-proclaimed “bird nerd” and water professional with 25+ years of experience, Laura will share practical ways to protect our creeks and rivers through sustainable landscaping and water-wise practices. She’ll also highlight City programs and incentives, including Less Lawn, More Life (Less Water), rain gardens, rain barrels, and the annual Native Plant Festival. Gardeners, birders, and conservation enthusiasts alike will leave with ideas and resources to make a positive impact at home.
