Onslow Island Section of Savannah NWR

Where: Onslow Island Section of Savannah National Wildlife Refuge. Small parking area is at the north side of the Houlihan Bridge over the Savannah River on GA25/SC170

What: Walk the impoundments in search of migrating songbirds and resident and migratory shorebirds.

Rigor: Moderate to difficult with 2+ miles of walking on grassy dikes. Bring water, bug spray, sun screen, hat, and a spotting scope, if you have one.
