Ogeechee Audubon in coordination with the Savannah Coastal Refuges Complex is offering a special field trip as a follow up to the Barn Owl Box construction project presented for the Celebration of the Year of the Bird.  

This is a Ogeechee Audubon Members-Only opportunity in Celebration of the Year of the Bird. 

We will go to Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge to hang one of the Barn Owl boxes and do some birding "behind-the-scenes" on Pinckney Island.  We will meet in the parking lot at 9:00 am and travel by wagon to the spot where we will hang the Barn Owl box.  Once the box is hung we will bird this area.  This will be a special treat to bird an area not normally accessible.  The program will end by 12:30pm.
