Tired of being cooped up inside? Why not get outside and enjoy one of our local birding hotspots. Habitats such as forest, grassland, and shoreline make Hutchinson Island an attractive area for species diversity. We have seen several rare birds show up at this location in almost every season over the years.
This will be a practice session for the Great Backyard Bird Count (February 15-18). Meet at the main white building in the undeveloped Reserve Subdivision. Leader: Dr. Mark Welford, firstname.lastname@example.org
Trip Rigor: moderate with a lot of walking.
