Field Trips
We conduct several birding field trips each month to natural areas in and around Savannah. All field trips are led by volunteers and are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
Please bring the following items to all field trips:

Meet Stan at the main entrance to Savannah Christian Preparatory School, on the road just inside the new gatehouse at 2:30pm. Leader: Stan Gray, graysirisgarden@comcast.net.
Trip vigor: Moderate with a lot of walking.
Come join members of Ogeechee Audubon attempting our first “Big Sit.” We’ll set up spotting scopes at Woody Pond and hang out to see what we can see or hear. We will be looking for wintering waterfowl, waders, rails, raptors and sparrows.
